Opera View Apartment - nearly finished

We have spent the weekend decorating the new Opera View Apartment in Budapest. Most of the furniture has arrived and so did the washing machine, the 3D TV and the Nespresso coffee machine. We are still missing the curtains and we need a new fridge, as the one that came with the apartment is just a bit too old for our purposes. So everything is brand new and the apartment is starting to feel like real home. A few more pictures are needed for the walls, but happy to report that Phil Watkins' lovely photograph of the Chain Bridge has arrived and we will shortly put it up in the apartment.

Here some new pictures taken in the evening, so not the best quality

Opera View Apartment - our latest addition to the family

The Opera View Apartment is the latest addition to the Apartments in Budapest 'family'. This apartment is located in the same stunning building as our Opera Apartment and the Grand Opera Apartment, but this has a view onto the balcony of the Opera House and the famous Andrassy Avenue to the left.

The apartment has good size living room that accommodates the open plan kitchen. We plan to have a comfortable sofa bed, 3D TV and a dining area in here. There is a small bedroom in the gallery that has a good size double bed. The modern bathroom has a walk-in shower and there is a separate WC and plenty of storage area.

The apartment is currently being refurbished and here the first pictures. You can see the great views, the beautiful period features on the ceiling and the nicely restored wooden floor. Doors and windows needs to be painted and we are waiting for the furniture. The refurbishment should finish on the 15th June and we are already taking bookings from 20th June.
