Grand Opera Aprtment - finally finished

The Grand Opera Apartment is finally finished and I think it looks stunning. Our first guests have moved in and I hope they will really like it as well. The apartment has a very spacious and light feeling to it and having 3 separate bedrooms with 3 bathrooms (2 en-suite) will make it a great place for families and smaller groups visiting Budapest. The antique furniture have been all lovingly restored and with the high ceilings one gets the sense how people must have lived a grand life here back in the days. The apartment is however fully brought into the 21. century with air-conditioning in each room, free high-speed WiFi, an amazing 3D TV in the sitting room, fully fitted kitchen with a dishwasher and even a Nespresso coffee machine.

This was quite a journey from start to finish, but the end result makes the hard work worthwhile. The best feedback is however our guests' and it is a great feeling that we had so many bookings for this year already with just the plans of the refurbishment to show. Grand Opera Apartment - refurbishment update

We are nearly there...

The refurbishment is coming to its final stages and it really starts to look beautiful. The bathrooms will be stunning and the antique furniture will give this apartment its 'Grand' nature. How do you like it so far? Would love to hear your comments.

Grand Opera Apartment not long to go

Deadline approaching fast

Our first guests arrive on the 27th May, but all looks good and we are well in the plan. The painters have finished and the wooden floor has regained its former beauty. The bathrooms are being finished as I am writing this blog and the first pieces of furniture have arrived. There is still a big mess in the apartment and the pictures are not the best quality, but I hope you can still see the progress. More pictures soon.
