Grand Opera Apartment - update from the refurbishment

The refurbishment in the Grand Opera Apartment is coming along very nicely. Most of the plumbing work is completed, the electricians changed all the wirings and the new boiler and the air-conditioning are also installed. Old walls are down, new walls are erected and the painters have started their work. There is still lots of work to be done, but it is really starting to take shape now. More update soon..

Andrassy 4 - the refurbishment has finally started

It took us a relatively long time to finalise the plans and to get the quotes from various builders. Finally the refurbishment has started at the beginning of this week and the builders finished the 'demolishing' phase yesterday. Next week they start putting in the new water and gas pipes and the air-conditioning and electrical wiring can also proceed.

We have already ordered the bathroom taps and sinks and the appliances for the kitchen. This is what we went for:

The sinks and WC are from Villeroy & Boch taps are from Hansa

  

Kitchen Appliances

We choose the German brand Teka (www.teka.com) as we had in our other apartments.
